When space is ready for a new story.
Oct 02, 2026
Happy Friday! We are moving through the Waning Gibbous Moon today and into the Last Quarter Moon in Cancer tomorrow. The letting go energy is so palpable, and I am feeling it a lot in my own life.
This part of the lunar cycle gives us a chance to integrate what has changed and begin releasing what has completed. With Cancer involved, so much of that conversation comes back to home, belonging, family, safety and the spaces where we live our lives.
For years, our home had a very specific purpose. We were a long-term foster home, and so much of our house was arranged around for that care and what others needed from us. That chapter changed, and while we will are still set up to help in a differnt way, my husband and I have spent months allowing our home to become something new. We've painted, deep cleaned, released furniture, played with color, and have completely redone rooms. We've laughed a LOT through the process, and bickered, and somewhere along the way I started feeling the presence of our home again.
I believe our homes have an energy and a spirit we can connect with. I also believe they hold stories. Sometimes we continue arranging our spaces around a life we're no longer living. We keep the room the same, leave something in a particular place, or hold onto an object because of who we were when it belonged there. Changing our environment can be a very tangible way of acknowledging, this is where I live now, and this is who I am now.
And something really beautiful happened as we gave our home permission to change. I started to feel different too. New ideas came in. New conversations started happening. Possibilities I hadn't considered before suddenly had room to breathe. It reminded me how connected our outer environment can be to what is shifting inside of us.
I think that is part of what I love so much about creating intentional space for ourselves. Sometimes getting out of our normal environment and stepping away from the routines that fill our days gives us enough room to hear what has been trying to get our attention.
And that brings me to something I finally get to quietly share with you today, Soul Immersion Retreat 2.0.
This November, I'm gathering just three to four women, for four days in a private residence in Northern California. This expereince will be intimate, deeply personal and spacious, with Human Design, intuition, subtle energy, environment, beautiful and clean food, conversation and plenty of time to hear yourself. With only a few attending, I can prepare for each person before she arrives and allow what happens during our time together to be shaped by the women who are actually there.
The timing feels especially meaningful as we move into this Cancer Last Quarter Moon. I've been experiencing firsthand what can happen when we honor the chapter that has completed, change the spaces around us, and leave a little room for something we couldn't have planned before.
Frequency Tip: Walk through your home this weekend and notice one area that still belongs to an earlier version of your life. Move something. Clear something. Bring in a color you love. Open the windows. Use the beautiful thing you've been saving. Let your space reflect a little more of the life you're living now.
If you would like to support that with a card pull, choose left, center or right ...

Here are the results:
LEFT: Five of Air
There may be something you are still mentally carrying that has already run its course. A conversation you keep replaying, a decision you question, or something you wish had happened differently. Take the wisdom and let yourself be finished with the mental loop.
For your home: Find one area that creates visual noise every time you see it. Clear the kitchen counter, deal with the pile of papers, clean off your desk, or tackle the drawer you avoid opening. Give your mind less to process when you walk into the room.
CENTER: Five of Earth
This card brings attention to security, money, resources and receiving support. Fear can sometimes make us hold onto things because we might need them someday. This weekend, look at where scarcity may be taking up physical space too.
For your home: Choose one drawer, closet shelf or cabinet and remove what you're keeping purely out of “what if I need this?” energy. Donate what is useful and ready to serve someone else. Then organize what remains so you can actually see what you already have.
RIGHT: Six of Water
This card is so connected to this Cancer Moon because it brings up memories, childhood, family and our relationship with the past. There may be something beautiful to remember here, along with an invitation to notice how much of your environment still represents who you used to be.
For your home: Choose one sentimental area. Photos, keepsakes, old clothes, children's things, gifts, inherited pieces or something you've carried through several chapters of your life. Keep what still feels meaningful and intentionally release or relocate something that feels complete. Then add one thing to that space that represents your life now.
Have a beautiful weekend!
Big love,
G~
